Mona Lisa, or La Giaconda, is a 16th century oil painting on poplar wood by Leonardo da Vinci and is a standout amongst the most celebrated canvases in Western craftsmanship history. Couples of different masterpieces are as romanticized, commended, or repeated. It is claimed by the French government and hangs in the Musée du Louver in Paris. The Mona Lisa's secretive grin has flabbergasted eras of viewers, and the genuine character of the lady envisioned in the representation is not certain.
