William Shakespeare the well-known playwright was born on April 23 1564 and died on April 23 1616. Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway at age 18 and had three children. After a few years of the birth of the twins (Hamnet and Judith), he went to London, England leaving his wife and children behind at Strand ford-Upon-Avon.
