Low carbohydrate diets are harmful. They will get you to your goal of weight loss, but a healthy maintained diet consists of a balanced diet that includes vegetables, fruits, lean meats, whole grains, low-fat dairy fats, and exercise. Diets that are low in carbohydrates are more likely to cause you to neglect your daily nutritional needs. I do not think that low carb dates should be followed a long period of time because they can cause weight gain, bowel problems, high cholesterol, and kidney problems. They are also hard to follow. Low carb diets also cause headaches, weakness, cramps, and diarrhea. Low carb diets will get you to your weight loss goals but the weight won't stay off if you go back to your old patterns.
