In the Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare, asserted that with the loss of sleep teens emotions send one into a deep hole of depression. Romeo was losing sleep over a girl, which drove poor Romeo into a deep depression, he then became suicidal due to the thought of being without his love, Juliet. Modern scientists have proven that with the loss of sleep, one’s emotions are bound to go hysteric. The amount of sleep adolescents are obtaining is affecting their mental state and health. The average teenager does not get the sleep they need causing their emotions and feelings to deflect.
