Leon Bakst’s significant contribution in the fame and artistic brilliance of the Ballet Russes greatly influenced twentieth century designers in fashion and textiles. His application of his skills in fine arts, and his involvement in the Art Nouveau style of art created revolutionising designs for costume and set for the Ballet.
