--Kevyn Aucoin Kevyn Aucoin has always believed in the beauty in people and has left a lasting impression on the world of makeup with his style and range of makeup skills. His influence, style, and technique have changed the way modern makeup is applied. Before becoming the influential makeup figure he is today, Kevyn Aucoin first had to start small, taking hair styling classes from a beauty school in his hometown in Louisiana. He enrolled in these classes after dropping out of high school due to being bullied because of his sexuality. He then took a job behind a makeup counter in a Lafayette cosmetic store(Koymasky).
