Jeremiah: Appropriate Strategies In Lieu Of SIB

Jeremiah has been able to use appropriate strategies in lieu of SIB (picking his thumb). Strategies include using a fidget and wrapping band-aids around his thumb. Additionally, when he begins to pick at his thumb, his parents give him the choice of going to his room for bedtime or being with his family. This strategy for the both of them has worked because Jeremiah chooses to remain with his family and understands that he is not allowed to pick while he is with them.
