Jeffery Sachs is a Special Adviser to United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan and a leader in the ascent towards solving world poverty and hunger. In his essay “What I Did on My Summer Vacation,” Sachs explains his efforts and demands that we, the people that have the luxury of reading his article, take some action towards helping his efforts.
