This two movies are the same in many different ways. The movie psycho is a movie about a deranged man who lost his mother. And after all the things that happened in the past about him, his mother, and step dad. He continued by murdering his mom and his stepdad and after all that he pretended to be his mom and killed a bunch of girls in the process. The movie Jaws was about a big great white that has stopped for residence in the harbor of the small little island town. One night some teenagers went to the beach and one girl died by the fins of the shark. After days of arguments, The town's sheriff and a couple others went to hunt down the shark and after many days, The three found the shark and the sheriff killed the shark with a co2 can. The first element that comes to mind, Setting. The setting for these two movies are very alike. The movie Jaws was based on an island and a boat in the middle of the ocean. My mind interprets this as isolation. Isolation can be very bad in a horror film. The idea that someone can be alone in a horror film can lead to multiple problems. Hallucinations, schizophrenia, and the most common problem in horror movies, madness. The movie Psycho was based on an isolated motel. This motel is based on a place in the middle of nowhere. The movies Psycho and Jaws are very good in this subject. The movie psycho keeps you in your set in till the very end which makes a really good movie.The movie jaws doesn't keep you in suspense the entire time, But the movie has very suspenseful moments. They both have the element in common. And both of the movies utilized this tool very well. Jaws had that suspense factor also because they hads a very crappy shark that was made of absorbable material. And because of this they did not show tha shark very often so that made you watch to see when the shark would make his jaw dropping
