When speaking in regards to the philosophical views that I hold on theism, I do not support James Mooney on his case. Mooney claimed that that he was distributing peyote in the role of a “medicine man,” and that the hallucinogenic drugs he was distributing were sacred and he reasoned this because they been used for centuries by Native Americans to enhance their connections to the Holy. I do not support his claim because I stand in the position of there not being a God, or any other omnipotent being or beings, and thusly, the possibility of connecting with such a being would be invalid. Several of the supposed proofs supporting the existence of a god are easily counter argued. St. Anselm’s ontological proof was refuted well by Immanuel Kant,
