First, on behalf of Ms. Louisa Lo, I would like to extend her heartfelt congratulations to all of you who have taken up the post of Prefect of Raimondi College. Ms. Lo has an official engagement in our Primary Section today and has asked me to pass on her apologies for her absence on this momentous occasion. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Mr. Chinton Chan and his team for their courage in taking up this important responsibility. Meanwhile, I would also like to thank Mr. 何建僖 and his team for their leadership, effort and dedication over the past year. It is found in the actions of the small child who sees that something is not right and speaks out seeking help to fix it, or a friend who senses that someone else is troubled and steps out of the ‘bubble’ of their own world to express caring concern. Leadership is most often expressed in action, doing something that needs to be done, that others can do, but perhaps choose not to do. This kind of leadership focuses on the exceptional acts that express leadership, but which each one of us is capable of undertaking. Real leadership is, at heart, a relatively simple set of steps: it links paying attention to action, based on some reflective or reflexive thinking. Leaders are ‘doers’ after all! Last but not least, to each of the leaders and ‘doers’ in the Prefect Body, I offer my sincere gratitude and congratulations for a year of contribution in the service of others. To those only recently elected to the Prefect Body, please accept my congratulations and best wishes for a year of learning and leading in balanced
