Although, I believe that they were on the right track with HR 2761 there are many holes in this bill that should be addressed. Individuals who do not have access to health insurance were completely left out of this bill, as well as men. Preventative services can be costly with out insurance, which leads many to forego preventative services. With the high prevalence of breast cancer in both men and women I believe that more preventative services should be available. Preventative services are a great way to lower the amount of individuals who encounter this disease. With early detection such as, mammograms many lives could be saved. Also, preventative services are much less costly than tertiary services, which will save money not only for individuals
