Many assassinations occur due to political, religious, and cultural reasons. Some assassinations occur without explanation, or with explanations that seem illogical or ridiculous. For example Abraham Lincoln. Who was Abraham Lincoln you say. Well I’ll tell you in a few. Also who and how he was assassinated. Last I’ll tell you why the person killed Abraham Lincoln. Abraham Lincoln assassination was not justified. John Wikes Booth killed him just because he thought it would aid the south. Lincoln was the one who wanted slavery to end. How is someone going to kill someone who’s trying to help someone else? That’s just not right. Who was Abraham Lincoln? Abraham Lincoln was many things. He was Civil Rights Activist, lawyer, U.S Representative, and the 16th U.S. President. He preserved the Union during the U.S. Civil War and brought about the emancipation of slaves. He was the first president to recommend the vote for African Americans. Lincoln wanted to help slaves. He was against slavery. How and who assassinated Abraham Lincoln? Booth killed Lincoln because he thought it would aid the South, which had just surrendered to Federal forces. It had nearly the opposite effect, ending Lincoln’s plans for a rather generous peace.
