The Powerful Emotion – Anger When people are crying, and shouting, they are showing their anger. In my opinion, everyone can be anger, but they become anger by different reasons. After me reading those three books, I really feel the anger of those authors. On one hand, they use intense words to describe the anger, on the other hand, those authors enlighten me on those anger. This intense emotions have strong power to push me to think some serious problems. In Frankenstein, I still cannot forget what the poor Frankenstein said. The author uses lots of language without any actions to show main character’s anger. I think this anger is for people who judge others by their appearance. Especially when F said there is no one love him, I can feel the despair from his anger. When he said “Cursed, cursed creator! Why did I live? Why, in that instant, did I not extinguish the spark of existence which you had so wantonly bestowed”, I felt sorry to him, and I also felt anger to those people who treaded Frankenstein badly. That is the way Shelley shows anger. She is not just describing the anger; she also can make me and readers anger. In this chapter, Moses borrowed the power from the god and leaded people left Egypt. Then he angry about those people no longer remembered how the god helped them and changed their belief. Does not like Shelley, the Bible added some actions to help me to felt the anger from Moses. “When Moses approached the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, his anger burned out and he threw the tablets out of his hands, breaking them to pieces at the foot of the mountain”. I also could heard the huge sound and felt the Moses’ anger after I read those words. As I know, sometimes the huge sound could strong the anger, on one side the huge sound can get people’s attention, on the other side, people relate anger easier to loud
