The Crucible, one of the many plays written by Arthur Miller, illustrates the injustice of the witch trails in Salem. Throughout the play, neighbours and long time friends have begun to suspect each other as using witchcraft. Miller strongly uses the theme of hysteria to convey the betrayal.
