When you think of the devastation and sheer destructive magnitude of a nuclear weapon one might think of Japan and the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The images of the desolation left after the vicious explosion were horrendous. One might say how did this all begin? What were the events that led up to such a ferocious act? Well before that day the father of “Fat Man” and “Little Boy” (the two atomic bombs detonated at Hiroshima and Nagasaki) was the “Gadget”, which was birthed from the first nuclear
