On 10/01/2015 at approximately 0333 hours, Florida Hospital Security Operations Command (SOC) was notified by the Emergency Department Nursing staff of an incoming 51D-Disordely Patient ED coming through EMS off-load. Security staff was dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, Security observed an agitated patient in room 38, later identified Eric Donald Carroll (FIN: 00842178). Patient was angry and refused to stay in his room, because his cell phone had no charge and wanted to make a phone. Patient was informed by Registered Nurse Alysa Nugent to stay in his room and he would be help shortly. Patient then got upset and walked then walked out of Special Care Unit and went to ED lobby to charge his cell phone. It must be noted patient was not
