William Pitt William Pitt was born on Nov 15, 1708, in Westminster, London, England. His parents names are Robert Pitt and Harriet Villiers Pitt. His grandfather and father’s service in India created a place in the British politics and their family fortunes.
He attended Eton College, then went to Trinity College, Oxford, after that he attended the University of Utrecht in Dutch Republic. In 1735, at age 27, William was elected as a Tory, at the House of Commoners, when the Whig party dominated the British Government.
