America can be beautiful, but never as beautiful as the movie The Last of the Mohicans portrayed it as. Picture this, it`s the year 1757 and no lawnmowers have been invented yet. The movie had several open fields, not pastures, but actual fields. Cora Munro plopped right down in one and drank her tea. Not only does the fact that we have fields lead to skepticism, but also many other factors contribute to the total doubt of how the beauty of America was portrayed by the producer, Michael Mann. When watching the movie there is instantly a “wow factor” when viewing the scenery that the Native Americans run through.
