In the novel Burial Rites written by Hannah Kent, fear can be seen as a major theme as it is very prominent throughout the whole book. It also helps us to understand characters such as Anges, Margret and Toti. As the whole book is centered around the execution of Agnes Magnusdottier the quote “Toti, I don’t think I’m ready.
