In addition to all the effects authors can have on people, they can also affect the reader's emotional. Emotion appeal comes into play in many true stories, that are told about a well know person. Nelson Mandela, one of the greatest civil rights activists had a very rough story. Nelson Mandela was a south african civil rights activists. He helped end the segregation of the nonwhite community. He was a leader of the nonviolent and violent protest which landed him in jail, where he stayed for a struggling 36 years.
