Some people find comfort in flying high up in the sky. For example, Selena Berry said that flying makes her feel big. This program gave Selena Berry a chance to prove herself, to feel big. Selena Berry and seven other students from Chicago area joined in a program to learn how to fly. This program is rigorous for participants and at the end, the successful students will graduate. When they graduate, they will get a private pilot’s license. This program is called Tuskegee Next, it allows young students to fly for free. The main mission of this group though, is to help follow in the footsteps of the country’s first black military pilots called the Tuskegee Airmen.
