Archetypes are usually a character, An archetype represent a characteristic or human nature. They are used in movies a lot without the director even knowing he is using them. They are most common is Disney movies such as the very famous Cinderella. The karate kid is a absolutely amazing movie from 1984. The film was directed by John G. Avildsen and the famous stars are Ralph Macchio, Pat Morita, and Elisabeth Shue.
The movie starts off with Daniel who is seen in the movie as an outcast, the hero, the initiate, and he has an hunting group of companions, his companion is Mr. Miyagi who you will meet the later in the movie. He is moving from New Jersey to California because of his mother's job. His mother is like an Earth mother to Daniel. He is very sad about this move because he is leaving his friends and family. When he arrives at his apartment he is greeted by a young boy who is about the same age as him, The boy invited him to go to a beach party. When he arrives at the party he sees a very lovely girl who he instantly likes. Once he starts talking to the girl named Ali who is the temptress in the movie, and her hunting group of companion is Daniel, A dirt bike gang comes and Daniel and Johnny get into a fight over Ali and Daniel gets completely beat up. Johnny is the head of the dirt bike gang and the the gang is his hunting group of companions.…show more content… The dirt bike gang are all trying out and Johnny purposely hurts Daniel, So Daniel gets up and punches him in the face and then he gets kicked off the team. On Daniels way home from school the dirt bike gang force him to fall off the hill, breaking Daniels bike.When Daniel wakes up the next morning he sees that Mr. Miyagi who is the maintenance worker and will become Daniel's Mentor, and his hunting group of companion is Daniel. He fixed Daniels bike. Daniel goes to thank him and Mr. Miyagi teaches Daniel how to concentrate by cutting Bonsai
