I. Introduction According to American Association for the Advancement of Science, urban residents spend more than 90 percent of their time indoors, therefore concentration of contaminants are higher indoors than outdoors that causes indoor air pollution which results to health problems. Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) refers to the air quality within and around buildings and structures, especially as it relates to the health and comfort of building occupants. Understanding and controlling common pollutants indoors can help reduce your risk of indoor health concerns. Health effects from indoor air pollutants may be experienced soon after exposure or, possibly, years later (EPA, 2016). This document intends to review the current state of Indoor Air Quality of Far Eastern University – Institute of Technology (FEU-IT) and to recommend possible ways to improve its air quality.
