Hemingway on Writing & “Big Two-Hearted River”
Hemingway has a very unique style of writing that leaves a strong influence on the readers. He has mastered the ideology of human reactions through words. He uses these techniques as an asset to make the reader feel as a part of the story. In this paper, I will write about how Hemingway has used these writing techniques to help the reader transition into the story in order to feel the emotions. To successfully accomplish his goals he uses both happy and ugly moments, reading as the only method to understand the past and punctuation as its literal meaning.

Hemingway uses this as a tool to make the reader realize the gasping moment for Nick. This altogether ties together Hemingway’s approach to make the reader connected to the story and understand Nick’s emotions and
