As they jump from the ledge, the outcome will change their lives. On the night of June 11th 1962, 3 prisoners made a daring plan to escape the unbreakable prison, Alcatraz. They wanted to make the impossible possible. Frank Morris and the Anglin brothers died while escaping Alcatraz. Frank Morris and the Anglin brothers died while escaping Alcatraz due to the fact that the San Francisco Bay was treacherous. The text mentioned that “powerful currents could have taken them away.” This might prove that the prisoners are in a greater death of experiencing death from drowning and from the strong currents that could have taken them out to sea. According to the text,” the bay was shark-infested and dangerous with sharp rocks.” This might mean that if the escapees faced difficulties, then they would have fallen into the water and die from sharp rocks and sharks. In a nutshell, Frank Morris and the Anglin brothers died while escaping Alcatraz from dangerous bays and powerful currents.…show more content… For example, the text states that “23 men were caught, 7 were killed, 1 drowned, and 2 others died mysteriously in an attempt to break out of Alcatraz.” This reveals that if the escapees have no chance of outsmarting if all others fail. For instance, “Al Capone admitted that Alcatraz got him licked.” If Al Capone, the most notorious thug can’t escape out of Alcatraz and he admits it, than no one can.
