Equality 7-2521 was born into a society where men live for other men. Equality knows that he is different from his brothers, and he was taught that this is a sin. Although Equality acknowledges his transgressions and understands the punishments for them, he dismisses the rules and decides to become his own person in the end. In the beginning, Equality tried to not stand out, and to follow the rules of the council, because being independent and divergent is a sin.
