In this essay, the Dr. Ben Carson narrates a surgery experience which was one of the most difficult and exciting for him. Dr. Carson is in charge of the patient Maranda Francisco who suffers of a hemispherectomy that needs to be operated as soon as possible to avoid Maranda’s death. For this surgery, Dr. Carson asks Dr. Neville Knuckey to assist him; but, Carson had been preparing for a long time and he will leave the results and God’s hands. Carson narrates that the surgery was longer than he expected; from the beginning, they started to have problems with the surgery.
