For sure, The Relocation Act of the 1940's was one of the reasons why Native Americans found it difficult to assimilate into American Society. As you mentioned Doan, the "Relocation Act" did have severe consequences for Native Americans by pushing them out of there land, reservations and way of life. Unfortunately, It also was not helpful in preparing Native Americans to adjust from rural to urban life. With that in mind, Doan, was the Relocation Act the cause to creating conflict and havoc when Native Americans moved to the cities? Also,did it have a strong impact on family traditions, beliefs and values and if so why? From reading your post, the Relocation Act was responsible for initiating depression, alcoholism, drug addiction, homicide
