Butler claims that gender binary is not natural, but has become natural in society due to it being created by compulsory heterosexuality and phallogocentrisim. One prime example of how gender binary exists in the world deals with the colors blue and pink which have been placed as either masculine or feminine. Everyday babies are born and just like that they are embedded with the idea of gender binary because boys start wearing clothes with the color blue and girls with the color pink. Even Disney has adapted this by making the girls in their shows and movies wear the color pink and boys the color blue. The idea of dressing males in more of a darker color like blue and girls more of light colors like pink have existed in which it helps them
