Just like every aspect of life, there are good and bad parts to every situation. Similarly, being a teacher has its good days, but also the bad days are present too, which are illustrated in Tom Wayman’s poem “Did I Miss Anything”. This poem depicted a story, not in one, but in two points of view, and through these two viewpoints Wayman was able to show a teachers perspective, and also a student’s perspective. Through this, Wayman was able to use imagery, repetition, and metaphors to further the meaning of the poem.
