It all started when “Denise” was going through a rough time in her life, nothing seemed to be going right, she lost her job made some mistakes and ended up having to live with a friend. She was depressed. One day, on the streets, she eavesdropped two men talking about where to get drugs and the type of “amazing” highs certain drugs gave. Denise was desperate for any type of joy in her life and convinced herself that her life was already bad enough and couldn’t get any worse. She couldn’t have been more wrong. Denise quickly found her life spiraling out of control, stealing from family and friends to afford her addiction. Denise was arrest and sent to jail twice for theft and being caught with drugs, but even after that she was still on the
