She is the goddess of agriculture, grain, and bread.
Her symbols are sheafs of wheat and and a torch.
She is the daughter of Kronos and Rhea and her siblings are Poseidon, Zeus, Hera, and Hades.
Demeter gave birth to Persephone not expecting an admire, Hades, to be following the great, mature, young lady. Later on, Hades and Zeus had paired up to secretly kidnap her.
