Extreme population pressure and poverty increases the rate of extraction and dependency on natural resources, especially from forests and wetlands. Unstable political situation lead to degradation of the environment and natural resources in the country, resulted loss and degradation of forests and wetlands, loss of bio-diversity etc. in many level. At the same time the country is highly vulnerable to climate change and facing various extreme climatic events due to its geophysical setting. Frequency of the extreme climatic events and climate change impacts increase the vulnerability of rural communities who are already susceptible to frequent environmental and social disasters. Cox’s bazar, situated with long coast of Bay of Bangla, is one of the vulnerable area of Bangladesh subject to adverse impact of climate change and rapid degradation of forest and loss of bio diversity as well. Cox’s Bazar, is in the south-east corner of the country, renowned for longest coastal sea beach-bio diversity rich mixed ever green forest-coral island-hills-natural habitat of elephants’ etc. Cox’s Bazar frequently experienced various climatic events like- sea level rise, salinity intrusion, drought, storm surge etc. due to climate change. Strategies and approaches for capacity building and training on sustainable natural resource management and climate change adaptation This management research report will emphasis on capacity building and training programs on natural resources management and climate change adaptation in cox’s bazar. Management research report will also suggest some strategies and approaches to BCAS, for capacity building and training program for multi-level stakeholders including national level GoB officials, local level GoB officials and the forest and wetland dependent community peoples. Resources documents The management research report will develop on the basis of primary and secondary data. Information of relevant programs/projects/reports/article will be use as a secondary data. The annual activities report, annual monitoring report, training need assessment (TNA) report, participatory climate vulnerability assessment (PCVA) report, various manuals, modules etc. will use as a secondary data
