Have you ever heard of a man named walter mitty ? He is a man of many words, shy, stimulated, courageous, many different bold words can be used to describe a man like walter . However, he has two different characters! There is a book and movie dedicated to him, and me personally, I enjoyed the movie much more than the book. There are many similarities and also differences in the movie, however only a few stuck out. Two of the differences that stuck out were that in the movie, he was a single man looking for love, in the book he was a married man with a nagging wife, another difference is that in the book he had frequent daydreams that lasted for the whole book. One of the similarities are that he was shy in both cases.
One reason that the movie is better than the book is that it was more thrilling. This is because there was less day dreams and the day dreams weren’t as frequent. However, in the book his reoccurring day dreams were lengthy and became repetitive because there were so many. In the movie, there were many more action packed scenes that were true and not a daydream which made it more interesting.
