Have you ever watched A Cry In The Wild and or read Hatchet? If not, I advise you to! They make a perfect way to compare and contrast two things based on the same thing. Does that make sense? I hope so! Let me compare and contrast the two, so it will be clearer! Ok, so this is how this is going to work, I am going to ask you some questions and you are going to answer! Which do think did a better job of telling the story line, A Cry In The Wild or Hatchet? I will give you time to think about this! If you said that the book did, I agree, totally! If you said the book,why? I thought Hatchet told the story line better because, it was more descriptive in the details. Whereas in the movie there was little detail and no details describing them.

    Hatchet and A Cry in the Wild were both good at telling the story. However, I think the book Hatchet did a better job with the detail of the imagery. Naturally, a movie such as A Cry in the Wild would have better opportunity to show imagery and it does, but Hatchet gave more description. An example is when Brian made his first bow. In Hatchet it said when the first bow snapped two splinters went right above his eye brows. In A Cry in the Wild the bow just snapped then it went to the next scene. When
