When I think of grit, the first idea that jolts through my mind is of a person who is well-rounded in every area and aspect of his life. In a sense, I view grit as just one of the many strong characteristics that people need to have in order to be successful role models for the people surrounding them. In my eyes, grit makes people tough as they struggle during hard times in their lives, and it helps build as they rejoice during the good times. I fell that intelligence is an important trait, but it should already be a big part of someone’s personality in order for that person achieve grit. If intelligence is not already present in a character, then the person who wants to climb to the next step of the personality ladder most likely needs to reevaluate his thought process a little while longer before he tries to climb any higher without any other support. Grit is made up of more than just one element; it is like a puzzle that requires more than one piece to be put together. Even though one piece of the puzzle might be extremely different than another, eventually, every piece connects together as one in order to create a picture that is bigger than just one puzzle piece.…show more content…
As finals approach, the semester gets tougher every week and puts more stress on me as a student, to get all of my assignments completed on time so I can start to study for all of my exams that are just around the corner. The last month of school will not be a breeze for me, but if I have enough grit in me, I can blow my finals out of the water and finish the last semester of my freshman year strong.
