Due to, Clifford’s path towards knowledge and critical thinking, he was able to view situation based on evidence, and that is what is required for a logical argument for or against... Clifford’s story about the ship owner’s neglect to repair the ship, although he knew about needed repairs, even though it made a safe voyage, shows his moral character. Many people try to validate their actions based on the outcome, but sometimes those neglects actually cause human casualties. What happens when people die because of other people’s mistake? Sometimes they are punished, but many times they get away with it, because the evidence sank to the bottom of the ocean. Of course this is just an analogy, and can be substituted into many situations. Is it
