This aspect includes values, beliefs, attitudes, and dispositions relevant to civics and citizenship understanding. Affective processes for civics and citizenship include the following processes:
Civic identity & connectedness
Which includes those civic and citizenship values that individuals develop or acquire about themselves and their relationships to others; the civic-related behavioural dilemmas they face and their attitudes towards such dilemmas. It also includes individuals’ beliefs regarding tolerance of the levels of diversity (of civic ideas and actions).
Civic efficacy
This process relates to individuals’ beliefs concerning their civic capacity to be effectively engaged in civic actions and is further subdivided into the following
