Too many Asian Americans living in Chinatowns across America face the gentrification process.
Significance of Issue
Due to the high market value of real estate in the United States, and the need for office spaces for new start-up companies, Asian Americans living in Chinatowns are facing gentrification issue. Many people are being evicted from buildings were new owners takeover, the parks are being changed into office buildings, or apartment buildings for young start-up generation. Those who are being gentrified from their houses lack the social services, affordable housing options, and they mist on their culture, because they are moving to other, then dangerous areas.
