The Call of the Wild was very exciting because Buck was taken from his family, he became a sled dog, and now he lives in the wild. My favorite chapter was chapter 6 and 7 because it tells how he is changing. I liked the part that Buck became tough, strong so he can fight, be faster to run, and the part where Buck is with Thornton. I didn’t like the part where Buck was taken from his family, been beaten by a club, and was getting into fights with Spitz. I didn’t like chapter 7 because it was the last chapter. I would change it to where Buck was not taken away from his family and he did become a sled dog but with his family. I would change it to where Buck and his family meet Thornton.
