The main theme of “Boot Camp” is troubled teens. This is the theme because the main plot shows what it is like for a teenage boy or girl to try and take a troubled teen and force them to agree with their parents' ideas of perfect behavior. They try and send them to one of the boot camps in America.Most of these places try to take criminal teens or teens that use drugs and convince them that they are better off learning all about discipline. But in this story Garrett’s behavior is not even close from inappropriate and criminal. The teens at Lake Harmony are really troubled.
