The Bonobo and the Atheist: In Search of Humanism Among the Primates, is a book that discusses the relations between morality and religion. De Waal himself does not believe in any religion, making him in atheist, but he tries to expand on the two topics into serving for a luminous future for animals and humans. Initially, humans are born to live as immoral beings and later learn the morals of controlling our inner inclination towards evil. Doing so by learning to assisting one-another; however, helping and supporting is a task that can be freely fluctuated and harder to manage. If we remember our purpose and decide to follow the right path, then further doors of success will be widened for us. De Waal’s book also discuss about the biological
