In Acts 16: 16-18 we are introduced to the unnamed slave Philippian slave girl with a spirit of divination who encountered the apostle Paul. This girl despite her circumstances as a slave followed Paul and called out Paul and his male companion. I argue in this paper through a postcolonial feminist lens that the slave girl used her gift of prophecy to body protest the colonization that Paul was about to initiate .
