“The Tragedy of Julius Caesar” was a story of betrayal. The way Brutus Caesar's best friend killed him. William Shakespeare wrote this to how much humans betray each other. Although Brutus thought he was killing Caesar for the good of Rome he still did kill a man the he loved and trusted very much. Therefore, Brutus became a man no one could trust. William Shakespeare wrote this story to show the betrayal between people. Also how the people we love the most can also be the ones that hurt us the most. There could be many reasons why William Shakespeare wrote this story. One of the main reasons were because of the betrayal between Julius and Brutus. They were best friends in the beginning and by the end Brutus was a murderer. The reason that Brutus killed Caesar was that he thought he was saving the future of Rome. Another reason why William wrote this story is that it is hard to trust people. Caesar had all his trust in Brutus and it hurt him a lot to see that Brutus was one of the killers. There are evil people in this world that you can't trust. In the story Julius Caesar had to learn that the hards way. If we look through Brutus’s perspective killing Caesar was the right thing to do to protect Rome. If we look in Cassius’s view he justed wanted to get revenge on Caesar. They could have approached this situation differently from the beginning. They could have told Caesar about their problem. The outcome of this story would have turned out so much different. Also that the people we love the most can have the biggest impact on the pain we feel. It made Caesar feel awful when he saw that Brutus the person he trusted the most had betrayed him. We expect the people we love to always be there for us but sometimes in the end they hurt
