After reading the story of Armando I felt a heavy feeling deep down in my chest. I understand how hard this case must have been for the family and for Dr. MacDougall. In my own experience I've seen many clients that have suffered strokes. Some of the more severe cases I've seen will leave the client unresponsive with a peg tube placement. Sometimes the family or loved one will get too overwhelmed and will leave the client. I've seen doctors go into the room and lay it all out with no beneficence. I believe Dr. MacDougall did a brilliant job and was realistic about Armandos prognosis. Dr. MacDougall did show true veracity when he spoke to the family.
