Gasoline Cars versus Electric Cars
You probably believe, like most people, that gasoline cars are bad for the environment. That they create too much pollution. That they are a huge cause of global warming. You also probably believe that electric cars do the environment good and that by driving one, you are saving the planet. Well, think again, because these facts are simply not true. Gasoline cars are actually better for the environment than electric cars! Gasoline cars have worked well for years, and are reliable, efficient, fair priced vehicles.
Firstly, cars that run on gasoline are easier to manage than cars that run on electricity. All you have to do is fill up the gas tank and go. Gasoline cars are usually big, luxurious, and they often get good mileage, according to eHow. They also can be easy and cheap to repair, according to…show more content… However, according to Bankrate.com, auto observers are saying gas-powered vehicles may now be the biggest bang for the buck. Gasoline cars have even reached an average altogether MPG of 24.9 miles, even though most models of cars and trucks are often 30 to 40 MPG, says Autoblog.com. In my opinion, I would prefer to drive a gasoline vehicle with 30 or 40 MPG than an electric car that may have less. According to Autobytel.com (page 10), one of the best SUVs has a gas mileage of 34 MPG! The website also says that some of the top rated pickup trucks are the 2015 Ford F-150, which has an MPG of 26, the GMC Canyon, which has an MPG of 27, and the Chevrolet Colorado, which also has an MPG of 27. Yes, this may not sound like much, but you get much more power in a huge pickup truck than you do in a little electric car. I believe that gasoline cars vary greatly in MPG, and that that makes them better than electric cars because of the many choices you can pick
