“Parents … if you weigh the risk and decide this is something you want to partake in. … It’s a free country. … But if I could relay a message to kids and their parents it would be twofold: Number one: make an informed decision. And number two: Don’t play through concussions. Who knows how many hits is too many?” This is about the only sentence I agreed with in the article. I think the most important thing is to not play through concussions. Last year for mock trial are case was about a girl who received numerous brain injuries from soccer. In the case the doctors said that it wouldn’t have had much damage if she hadn’t been playing after she had gotten a concussion a few months earlier.
