Farmers should not spray their wheat crops with round-up for harvest. First of all, spraying round-up on wheat crops causes health issues with people. Many people who have previously been diagnosed as having gluten allergies are now being properly diagnosed as having reactions to the round-up found in their bread and other wheat products. Secondly, the cost of spraying round-up on crops is not worth the reward of producing more wheat grain. The only reason farmers spray the wheat is to kill it, thus causing the grain to mature, and creating a more consistently ripe crop. However, it takes hundreds of gallons of round-up to kill acres of wheat. This is far more expensive an investment than just waiting a few more days for more consistently
