"Nobody is perfect" said Wolfgang Reibe. On the contrary, in the book: The Battle of the Labyrinth, Hera, the goddess of marriage and family only values perfect people. However, the imperfect people turned out to shape the story. Proving that people who have imperfections are still useful. Three of these people include: Annabeth, Nico and Grover the Satyr. Although Annabeth Chase is the daughter of Athena, goddess of wisdom, she, like almost everyone has multipe flaws. Perhaps her main fatal flaw is her ambition to be great. However, that ambition payed off in the Labyrinth. Annabeth always expected herself to be the greatest architect ever. However, because of her short term goals, she was so caught up with great buildings and monuments that she was sometimes distracted by them and was not ready for battle. Nico, the son of Hades, lord of the dead, is far from perfect. His main problem is that he gets angry easily, and is not very bright on the battlefield. But he still had many uses while going through the Labyrinth and battling along side with the rest of the demigods against the Titan army. His anger for the death of his sister, Bianca made him even more determined to defeat the Titan army. Every time he saw an enemy soldier, he fought him/her/it with eveything he got. His dullness on the battlefield was also a huge factor in the great Titan versus demigod war at camp Half-Blood. The demigods were losing the battle badly and were on the verge of retreating. However, Nico thought of a plan to win the battle by summoning the dead from the underworld to help fight the enemy. He did not realize nor remember that just summoning one being from the underworld would knock him unconsisus. He used all of his power to summon a whole army of dead soldiers.
